Our Services
At Rise 2 Thrive, we understand that under-resourced communities deserve more than sympathy. They deserve an empathetic force that can look beyond their crisis moment, understand their challenges and help them create sustainable change. Rise 2 Thrive is more than another nonprofit organization, we are advocates creating a movement designed to break generational cycles of trauma and poverty.
Education
We support literacy programs, raising literacy awareness with parents of children from birth to 5, as well as support elementary aged children who are not reading on grade level.

Advocacy
We educate the community and service providers regarding the challenges experienced by vulnerable populations. By collaborating with schools, government organizations and community leaders, we support policy change, create access to opportunities and work towards eliminating barriers to economic mobility.
Skills Training and Support
We provide career services, entrepreneurial coaching, resume writing assistance and workshops and employment networking events.
Empowerment
Our signature program, RISE, is an 8-week, group facilitated program that provides families with a step-by-step plan to address the challenges they experience in parenting, as well as the barriers they face to economic mobility. Over the course of the program, participants receive counseling, case management, parenting support, financial literacy and budgeting workshops and individualized job skill training and career coaching. Although it is a group facilitated program, participants receive individualized service planning and case management.
